Wyoming fly fishing is great because of the abundance of beautiful areas to fish. When you have a Cutt-Slam goal on your mind it is good to have an idea of where to go. The Wyoming Fish and Game Department has put together the following list of locations for completing the Cutt-Slam.
COLORADO RIVER CUTTHROAT
Great Wyoming fishing areas that includes all waters within the Green River Drainage including but not restricted to:
- Tosi Creek, Rock Creek, and Gypsum Creek watersheds
- Horse Creek watershed
- Cottonwood Creek watershed
- North Piney Creek watershed including North Piney Lake
- South Piney Creek watershed
- LaBarge Creek watershed
- Hams Fork River watershed
- Little Snake River watershed
- Blacks Fork River watershed
- Smiths Fork River of the Blacks Fork watershed
BONNEVILLE CUTTHROAT (BEAR RIVER CUTTHROAT)
Wyoming fishing areas within the Bear River Drainage including but not restricted to:
- Smiths Fork River of the Bear River including Hobble Creek and Lake Alice
- Thomas Fork River including Salt Creek
- Sulphur Creek Reservoir
SNAKE RIVER CUTTHROAT
Wyoming fishing waters within the Snake River Drainage including but not restricted to:
- Hoback River watershed
- Salt River watershed
- Greys River watershed
- Gros Ventre watershed
- Jackson Lake
- Palisades Reservoir
YELLOWSTONE CUTTHROAT
Wyoming fishing waters within the headwaters of the Missouri River Drainage including but not restricted to:
- Yellowstone River watershed including Yellowstone
- Clarks Fork River watershed
- Big Horn River watershed
- Shoshone River watershed
- Buffalo Bill Reservoir
- Little Big Horn River watershed
- Wind River watershed
